Directions

The Opportunity Talks Toastmasters club meets at the Sun Microsystems campus in Broomfield, CO. The club has moved it's meeting location from the Louisville campus (formerly known as StorageTek) to the main Sun Microsystems campus in Broomfield.

Located just off US Highway 36, the Sun Microsystems facility is in the Interlocken Advanced Technology Environment between the Jefferson County airport and the Flatiron Crossing Mall.

Directions from Boulder, CO:

Point of Origin is the junction of 28th street and Colorado Ave. at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

1. Go south on 28th Street for 0.4 miles.
2. Continue on US36 E - go 8.3 miles.
3. Take the StorageTek Dr exit to Louisville (NORTHWEST PKY TOLL) - go 0.3 miles.
4. Turn right at Interlocken Loop - go 0.8 mi.
5. Turn left at Eldorado Blvd. - go 0.4 mi.
6. Turn right onto the Sun Microsystems campus and follow the signs posted at the entrance, to Building 4 (follow the loop around the campus).

Directions from Denver, CO:

Point of Origin is the junction of Speer Blvd. and Larimer St. (heading North).

1. Head northwest from Speer Blvd - go 0.8 mi.
2. Bear right into the I-25 N entry ramp to Ft Collins - go 5.2 mi.
3. Take the US-36 W exit 217 to Boulder - go 11 mi.
4. Take the CO-121 exit toward US287/Broomfield/Lafayette - go 0.2 mi.
5. Turn left at CO-121 S/Wadsworty Pkwy - go 0.3 mi.
6. Turn right at W 120th Ave/CO-128 (signs for CO-128 W). Continue to follow CO-128 - go 1.5 mi.
7. Turn right at Network Pkwy - go 0.4 mi.
8. Turn left at Eldorado Blvd. - go 443 ft.
9. Turn left onto the Sun Microsystems campus and follow the signs posted at the entrance, to Building 4 (follow the loop around the campus).

What do I do when I get there?

Park as close as possible to the entrance of the building.
If you have already informed the club of your intent to visit, you can use the visitor kiosk to the right of the vestibule door to print a visitor badge.
If you plan on just dropping in, please be prepared to show a government issued ID to the guard at the desk. They will prepare a visitor badge for you.

I have a Visitor Badge, now where do I go?

After obtaining the Visitor Badge, please wait in the lobby to be escorted by an employee to the Swansea Conference room, where the Opportunity Talks club meets. The conference room is located directly to the left of the vestibule doors.
